Responsibilities will include basic research, design, development, and product launch of electrical and electronic systems for mobile work stations and medication delivery systems for patient care environments. This position will be part of our current medical product development team which includes electrical, mechanical, and software engineers, technicians, and support personnel. Medical Products Electrical Design Team Areas of Responsibility include: 1. Microcontroller board development 2. Electronic locking systems 3. Electro-mechanical actuators and motors 4. Power systems 5. Battery interfaces and chargers 6. Communication circuits 7. Displays and indicators 8. Wiring and cabling 9. Biometrics 10. Regulatory certifications 11. Peripherals Minimum requirements for this position include a Bachelor degree in electrical engineering and at least 3 years experience in electronic systems design, design of power systems, or digital and analog circuit design. Other experiences of value would be working with volume manufacturing, firmware development, board layout, circuit simulation, debugging and troubleshooting, and product design for the medical industry.
