SUMMARY OF POSITION
HTS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network / System Administrator to join our team. As a Network / System Administrator, you will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our company's network and systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is detail-oriented, organized, and has a strong background in IT infrastructure management.

Responsibilities

  • PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Configure and maintain company networks, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
    • Install, configure, and troubleshoot servers, operating systems, and applications.
    • Perform operating system updates.
    • Monitor network and system performance and ensure high availability and uptime.
    • Implement and maintain network security measures to protect data and systems from unauthorized access.
    • Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures.
    • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels.
    • Provide technical support and assistance to end users, including diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.

Skills/Qualifications

  • REQUIREMENTS
    • Associates degree in Networking, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, routing, and switching.
    • Proficiency in configuring and maintaining switches, routers, and other network equipment.
    • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, and virtualization technologies.
    • Familiarity with network security principles and best practices.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
